Potpourri

My wife - the Lovely Linda - says having this Potpourri hanging around in a bowl makes the house smell good....After being married for 32 years, I just agree.. I do know that it's like her - it sure looks pretty!

Really nice detail, and I agree that the potpourri makes the house to have a nice aroma, your wife is right about it... thanks God women exists, they always pay attention to details that we men sometimes don't care at all...=)

Wonderful colors and a great eye for making something so simple as Potpourri look so magnificent! One thing I most ask, how do you get the red to come out always so good? Is there a "photographer's trick" or is it just having a good cam what makes the difference? Btw, greetings to you and Linda from Germany!!! I am sure you made her day!

@juant3: Thanks Juan - your encouragement keeps me going! Juan, I usually look at adjustments on most colors in Photoshop - it is easy to over saturate and must guard against it! Under Image - adjustments - hue/saturation - you can saturate the master image or individual colors... Good luck and thanks again!

Never seen such a lovely pot pourri! Colors and detail lovely! You are lucky you have such a lovely wife as Linda, and really nice of you to let her know! I used to do such things - but now my pot pourri is some smaller stuff you buy in a bag.

I love the smell of potpourri and of course those heavily scented jar candles...Mmmmmm! And it does look pretty too, as long as the cat doesn't get to it.
