Pre Dawn Harbor Island

We have a "upscale" area on the water next to down town Tampa called Harbor Island - the building on the left is the back of the Tampa Convention Center. This was just before the sunrise on Sunday.

So crisp and lovely. Beautiful layered shading on the water. How do you get the focus so spot on? Do you use a tripod?

@liaso: Hey liaso! Thanks for the kind review! I take a bunch of shots that are not as good as the ones I put up - so on the focus, I'd say a little bit of luck and repetition. YES on the tripod - I use a tripod any time I can. It helps eliminate movement and the longer exposures like this one would be impossible without a tripod - the tripod is my friend! =) Cheers!
