Cades Cove is an isolated valley located in the East Tennessee section of Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The valley was once home to numerous settlers before the formation of the national park around it. Today Cades Cove is the single most popular destination for visitors to the park, which is itself the most visited national park in the United States, attracting over two million visitors a year, due to its well preserved homesteads, scenic mountain views, and abundant display of wildlife.

Looks like you went really close....
A finely focused wildlife study with exemplary exposure and detail. The deer is such an engaging animal alas not native to Australia. I did enjoy seeing them in my recent visit to Richmond Park, London but the background surroundings were not as attractive as this one.

I love Cades Cove, and the Smokies in general - the wildlife is unusually accustomed to people: good for deer, not so much for hungry bears :) Nice shot - have fun up there!

Excellent frame! When we toured Cades Cove we saw three bear cubs in a tree. We also saw deer, horses, wild turkeys and a few tourists ;-)
Looks like you were able to capture some great images in the Tennessee area.
