Sweet colors, my sunset shots tend to be more red. I think our pollution is different than yours hehe.

Great idea framing the sunset between the trees: great silouhette result. The colors are just amazing - I love those colors! Were they helped on a little in Photoshop?? I thought so because the sun itself has a very golden/orangy glow around it. Its a wonderful result anyway. Do another one like it and step a little to the right so you get the whole structure on the pier, without a tree in front of it. Keep the dark border at the bottom straight, and the horizon will follow suit. Then you could sell a shot like this to one of the sites that will put your photos up for sale.

@Anne: Thanks Anne - I appreciate the tips! That will give the perfect excuse to go back there again!!! I shoot in RAW and do most of my adjustments in RAW before opening in CS2, then just adjust the levels and curves for tones. Thanks again!

Jerry, This is fantastic shot! I wish I could remember where this place is. I have been St. Petersburg beach tons of times though, unsure where this pire is.

@scorpion: Thanks scorpion! The St. Pete Pier is downtown on the water....years ago they called it the million dollar pier - well with inflation, it's probably the 10 million dollar pier now....It's right near the Vinoy Hotel downtown.....
