This was a curious beautiful friend that came to visit when we were at Longboat Key!

wish i had a lens like yours.
mine is only up to 55mm. still need to save up from a telephoto lens.

good white balance Jerry! White feathers are almost impossible to photograph on a hot sunny day here in Malaysia

Absolutely fantastic Jerry! When I used to print in my darkroom - it was hard to see if light colors were well focussed or not from the negative image - so I always looked for the eyes! Well - you got the eye detail so the rest has to be perfect at that fstop. Beautiful Bird.

unbelievable Jerry!! I can't believe you got such clarity at 300mm and an iso of 100 with an f stop of 8.0. Colour me impressed mate. Great job!!

@Jerry - a moment in time [...]: Thanks Jerry - I was using an inexpensive 75-300, the bird was very curious and ave me every opportunity to get decent shot. Lucky, I guess!
